PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Sunnydale Hope SF is a multi-phased housing project that includes approximately 1,770 residential units (775 replacement affordable units, approximately 200 additional affordable housing units, and approximately 694 market rate units). The project also includes all new streets, utilities, and infrastructure, as well as 3.5 acres of new open spaces and approximately 60,000 square feet of new neighborhood-serving retail and community spaces. Sunnydale is San Francisco’s largest public housing community.
SERVICE DESCRIPTION
As infrastructure coordinator and preconstruction manager for the Sunnydale Hope SF project, Hollins Consulting, Inc. coordinates the development and approvals of the Master Utility Plans for low pressure water, auxiliary water supply, combined storm sewer, grading and overland release, stormwater control, master streetscape, and power. We assist the developer navigate the City’s approval process for the master Tentative Map and master street vacation applications. We assist the developer refine its preliminary 2017-2030 infrastructure and residential buildout schedule, while also providing an independent evaluation of the contractor’s infrastructure budget for each phase based on conceptual infrastructure plans. Hollins Consulting, Inc. is vetting infrastructure soft cost budgets for each phase and well as advising the development teams on its approach to phased demolition and construction of public infrastructure within an active/occupied site.
